Committees
The QPMA relies on the contribution of its various committees to help it pursue its mission. These committees, made up of members of the Association, meet two to three times a year to define the directions and projects that will move the industry forward. I Love Fruits and Vegetables Movement Committee
Chair: Simon-Pierre Murdock, Morille Québec
To reflect on and identify actions and avenues of intervention to achieve the mission of the JMFL Movement, which is to raise consumer awareness of the importance of fruit and vegetable consumption in the adoption of healthy lifestyle habits with the objective of increasing fruit and vegetable consumption among Quebecers.
Public Affairs and Government Relations Committee
An advisory committee, the QPMA’s spokesperson and educational vehicle for political and media influencers, which helps make the QPMA a key, credible contact for governments, industry partners and the media on all matters related to the consumption of fruits and vegetables in Quebec.

Finance Committee
Chair: Tony Bono (Chenail)
The purpose of this committee is to make recommendations to the executive committee on the management of the QPMA’s finances, to review working budgets, to monitor the performance of bank investments, and to ensure that the rules of sound financial management are regularly reviewed.
Member Services Committee
President : David Turcot, Ferme A. & R. Turcot
The purpose of the Member Services Committee is to optimize the relationship and services offered to members in order to maximize the value of their membership in the association. One of the missions of this committee is also to find strategies to develop the pool of members in order to promote business relations and the strength of representation.
Next-Generation committee
Chairperson : Jessica Levac, Bellemont Powell
The Emerging Talent Committee is made up of members aged 35 and under. The members are in charge of planning actions specific to the emerging network such as content specific to these members, planning the networking and training cocktail (5@7 de la relève) and identifying development opportunities. Since 2019, the banking institution Desjardins is the official partner.
Growing Up Strong Committee
This specific committee is in charge of the selection process for the “Cultivating the Next Generation” program, giving the winner the opportunity to gain experience by participating in QPMA and industry meetings and events
Events Committees
Each QPMA event has its own committee. These committees are responsible for the ideation, promotion and organization (in conjunction with the permanent staff) of the Association’s networking events.
