Farm Credit Canada (FCC) has engaged VCMI to conduct research estimating the total cost of food waste in Canada, in order to gain a deeper understanding of its impacts across the entire agriculture and food supply chain. Food waste is a key factor affecting productivity, and food waste reduction benefits the industry, consumers, and the environment. You are invited to participate in a confidential survey, the purpose of which is to examine the costs associated with producing, grading, processing, packing, and distributing selected commonly purchased fresh and processed food items.
The survey will take approximately 4 to 5 minutes to complete and
will close on Wednesday, December 31, 2025.
