Cultivating Next-Generation program
Created 12 years ago, the Cultivating the Next Generation program offers selected candidates the opportunity to become involved in the association by participating in meetings of the board of directors and various committees. The experience allows the candidate to visit QPMA member companies in order to familiarize him or herself with all the sectors represented in the membership and to participate in the association’s networking activities, while ensuring the outreach of the emerging network in those sectors. Finally, the intern will have the opportunity to accompany Sophie Perreault, president and CEO, at certain events and meetings with industry partners and government representatives. He/she will also have the opportunity to participate in activities with the collaborators of the I love fruit and vegetables movement.
In brief:
- 20+ meetings in Quebec and Canada
- Participation in all QPMA board meetings
- Already 10 trainees including 3 on the board
- A rigorous selection process, accompanied by a human resources expert, Sophie F. Marcil of Versatus Leadership
- Automatic registration for CPMA’s Passion for Produce event
