Considered obsolete for several years, the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (the LPRPSP) is getting a facelift with the amendments introduced by Law 25. The modernization of Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector new requirements came into force on 22 September 2023 and others will come into force on 22 September 2024.
