The QPMA applauds the leadership of Ministers Lamontagne and Bibeau and the synergy of all agri-food sector stakeholders for their commitment to sustainable agriculture. The new five-year $955 million Canadian Partnership for Sustainable Agriculture agreement is a concrete demonstration of their support for programs that encourage research, adaptation and innovative initiatives. This will allow our industry to offer more and more local fruits and vegetables for the health of Quebecers and to continue to make a major contribution to the economy and food autonomy of Quebec.
