2021 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING MINUTES (in French)
RESOLUTION ON ELIGIBILITY TO THE QPMA BOARD OF DIRECTORS
At the Annual General Meeting on November 26, 2021, members voted on a resolution clarifying the definition of an “Active Member”.
From now on, is considered as “An Active Member, any company member of the QPMA, having a place of business or not in Quebec.” This now entitles members who are outside Quebec to participate in the elections of directors.
However, this change of article also has an impact on article 5.4 on eligibility of the QPMA Constitution and By-Laws.
Currently, it is written as follows: “Only Active Members are eligible as Directors”.
In order to avoid a possibility of deviation from the raison d’être of the QPMA and therefore to allow only Active Members having a place of business in Quebec to apply for a position of director, the QPMA Board approved a resolution adjusting the eligibility criteria.
