June 16 – The Canadian Organic Trade Association (COTA), in collaboration with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), organised a webinar on June 14th, on “Regulations and general requirements for Canadian imports and exports of organic products”.

- Topics: This presentation focuses on the regulations and general requirements for Canadian imports and exports of organic products. Topics include: new Other Government Department (OGD) codes, equivalency agreements, challenges and brief updates on various new regulatory requirements.
A second webinar on “Requirements for Canadian exports to the U.S. under the new U.S. Strengthening Organic Enforcement (SOE) rule” will be held on

- Presenter: Dr. Jenny Tucker, NOP Administrator. Valeriya Staykova, Lead Auditor of Canada Organic Regime, will address questions related to enforcement in Canada.
